Speaking of backblogging, I completely forgot to mention that B and I are having a BOY! Most everyone knows this already, but for those mysterious ones who are reading my blog (I know you're out there. Google Analytics, baby. My whopping 4 followers + my friends and family and I are not the only ones hitting this thing up -- make yourself known! Comment!), I am proud to say that B and I will be toting around a cute little mister come the end of October. We were thinking of waiting to find out, but B really wanted to know, and I didn't take much convincing. So I went to the anatomical scan appointment at 20 weeks and had the tech write down the sex on a piece of paper and sealed it in an envelope. Barry and I opened it at home that evening together on our couch with our pup. I think B scared Gus half to death with all the jumping and yelling he did. He is over the moon and so am I. And obviously, I had to bake some celebratory cupcakes. Forgive the stereotype, but given the occasion, it felt silly to ice gender-neutral cupcakes. So yay! Boy, boy, BOY!

Yay!! So excited for baby to make an appearance in October! I am so glad that you decided to find out and share the news with the rest of us. I would have been going NUTS by October.
