Okay, I'm being dramatic. but it's been tough baking stuff these past few weeks without all my baking tools. I bake a lot more than this blog communicates - I'm just a lousy blogger and get backlogged (backblogged? Is that a word? It should be.). I made some Snickerdoodles for a friend's July 4th barbeque using this recipe. I had no cooling rack, so I improvised :o). I used a cookie scooper to measure out the dough and rolled the mixture into balls. I started out by shaking the dough in a ziplock bag of cinnamon sugar, but later resorted to only coating the face-up side so the bottoms wouldn't get all sticky.
