Shopping in the 'Zoo

I recently visited Barry's hometown for a friend's wedding. It was a whirlwind trip - the wedding was Saturday afternoon and I had to be back in New Orleans by Sunday morning. Still, I managed to work in some shopping while I was in town. The impetus was the fact that as usual, I was ill-prepared for Michigan weather. I only brought a pair of black open-toed strappy heels, which I wore to the rehearsal dinner.

On a trip to DSW with B's mom and sister, I pick up these black Bandolino heels just for fun, and I also got these insanely high but awesome heels from Macy's.

Tthey are by Jessica Simpson. Vom. But I've heard good things about her shoes from someone who will remain nameless. And you have to admit - everything about these heels - the color, the shape of the toe, the slight platform - is pretty awesome. I was dying by the end of the reception because my feet hurt so bad, but i think it was worth it.
