Too Little Too Late

This post is totally useless to you, as Halloween has come and gone. But hopefully this blog will be going strong(ish) in a year and you can reference this under holiday baking. B and I love pumpkin seeds. We especially love flavored ones. Below are oil (vegetable) and salt, cocoa powder and sugar, cinnamon and sugar, and hot and tiger sauce. The latter was B's concoction - I hate hot sauce. To make these:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Scoop out the seeds from a pumpkin and place in a collander
  • Rinse out the best you can but leave seeds a little damp
  • Roll seeds around in toppings of choice
  • Bake for about 10 - 12 minutes depending on your oven and watch them - they can burn quickly!
And these last ones are just for fun...my cohort was the 7 deadly sins for our department's Halloween party. I was Envy, but Sloth was my favorite.

And these were our pumpkins. Mine is in love and B's is...confused?
